PRIVACY & PROCESSING

Your work.
A clear picture of its privacy.

Different tools handle your work differently. Here is what leaves your device, what stays in your browser, and what you control.

Updated 6 November 2026
Images stay local.Processing happens in your browser.
Text uses Groq.Sent when you request a rewrite.
01 / TEXT

When you humanize text.

When you select Humanize text, the passage is sent to the Humanize.pk server and then to Groq, the AI service used for input screening, rewriting, and checking changed drafts. The result returns to your browser for review and editing.

The application does not have a saved-draft database or an account history. It does not include your text in its routine provider-error diagnostics. Text is still processed by an external service, so avoid submitting passwords or information you are not permitted to share.

Groq’s own data controls and policies apply to its processing. Provider usage information and, in some circumstances, request content may be retained. We do not promise zero retention by third parties. Read Groq’s data documentation

02 / IMAGES

Your image stays on your device.

Image files are opened and processed in your browser. Humanize.pk does not upload them to an image API or to its server. Pixel cleanup runs locally and makes bounded adjustments to fully opaque pixels; turn it off for metadata cleanup only. No machine-learning model is downloaded, and your original file is not modified.

The separate PNG removes source EXIF, XMP, text metadata and embedded Content Credentials. Color and density information needed for the PNG can remain, and browser decoding may change color profiles. The app does not contact a watermark detector or connect to your social media accounts.

Temporary image previews and processing resources are released when you replace or remove the image or leave the page. Files you download remain wherever your browser saves them.

03 / ON YOUR DEVICE

A preference, not a profile.

Your light or dark appearance preference is stored locally in your browser so the site can remember your choice. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data settings.

Text drafts, rewritten results, and image sessions stay in the page’s memory. Switching tools within the page preserves them. Refreshing, closing, or navigating away clears the active session, so copy or download work you want to keep first.

This version does not include advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts, account registration, payment processing, or a cloud library of your work.

04 / RUNNING THE SERVICE

The information a request carries.

Like other websites, serving a request involves technical information such as an IP address, browser information, and the requested URL. The application uses the connection’s IP address temporarily to limit repeated rewrite requests.

Hosting, network infrastructure, and the AI provider may keep operational logs under their own policies. The application’s provider-error diagnostics contain technical status information, rather than your source text, generated content, or API credentials.

This page describes the current product. If features or data handling change, the page and its updated date should change with them.

05 / YOUR CHOICES

Keep control of the next step.

  • Use image processing when you want a workflow that stays on your device.
  • Share text only when you choose to request a rewrite.
  • Cancel processing if you change your mind. Cancellation stops work the application can still interrupt; it cannot undo a request already received by a provider.
  • Save your finished work, then clear the editor, remove the image, or leave the page to end the active session.
  • Clear browser site data to remove the saved appearance preference.
